I am fluent in many eras.
I was born a millennial. I know Saturday morning cartoons and the fall of the world. Twice.
I was raised Boomer. I know that silence is the most dangerous sound.
I was forced to learn Gen X. I know the danger of smiles and insincerity.
I learned Gen Z naturally, and it feels the most real. They don’t hide or fake, and they name their pain.
But really, I might be the Silent Generation. I hate taking action and wish I didn’t have to, but here I am. It’s what I have always had to do.
There’s no way I’m the Greatest Generation. I’m not great.
Am I lost like the Lost Generation?

Honestly, I don’t really think about generations. All I know is whatever one I’m “supposed” to be chewed me up and spit me out... and now I'm here 🤷🏽♀️
This is a very interesting perspective! I never thought of it this way. I’m Gen X, but, the older I get, I feel like the more Millennial I become. Weird.
