That was truly impressive and I particularly enjoyed the contrast in meter between the two contributions.
The bold stanzas were metrically consistent and measured, while the writer of the stanzas in italics adopted a more fluid, variable rhythm. The former felt masculine and the latter felt feminine.
And thank you for your continued support. If you saw what I wrote yesterday, but thankfully didn’t post here, you’d be giving me a wide berth for being bat-shit crazy.
Excellent, both! I'm familiar with Hina's writings. And it appears that she has written in a way like she's telling her own life story, her nightmares. On the other hand, HVR is new to me. However, while reading, it sounds to me as if he is narrating Hina's story!
Okay. Fine! Would love to see more such collaborations in future, I think this is the very first. And, if possible, subscribe to me. No need to read my posts, I understand that.
In pain I welcome my nightmares, my sleep, unmoved.- strangely enough I had a nightmare this morning- this hit me right there -waking me- when I awoke I realized it wasn’t a nightmare at all it was a real expression of sadness and it was true- that my family danced on a stage choreography in unison- I was not invited-
I am writing a book - a fable- actually a journey in inner child healing-so it is just here now and I need the focus and grounding- it is surprising how encouraged I feel from your work- thank you 🙏 sir. Just for being here and connecting so many.
Wow, this is amazing! Love the song component too, really brings up the nuance. How was this created? Did you each trade stanzas, so each stanza was responding to the previous one? Who's singing on the track?
Excellent! My first read of the day. I like it very much. I’m so happy the inner poet is coming out HVR! Nightmares. I hate that they follow us into the waking hours, so we don’t get reprieve even when we try.
“My nightmares made me lie awake shutter at the thought of sleep. My mind learned what dreams take.” When you’re a traumatized person, there’s no rest even when you’re asleep. Your subconscious immediately has to filter through all of the things. It’s so difficult to have energy and productive when you know that your rest is going to be haunted just as much if not more as you’re waking hours.
Harmony at its finest
Loved the flow and loved the dreams and lived in the dreams that are flowing 🫴🏾
Thank you.
This was really really good
You guys should do another collab 🔥
Thank you so much, ❤️ 🫶

loving so many nuggets here:
"I don’t want to survive. I want to thrive."
It's true. Thrive is where it's at.
Thank you so much.
Powerful. Stirring. This reads like a moving song. I can almost hear the tune. Thank you.
I appreciate that close read and listen.

Essentially, we found a similar topic. Her lines are her experience, and my lines are my experience.
We made it work.

I've had similar. Are they better than they used to be?
Fire! Say less! 🤞🏼💯
Turn down for what?

I used Suno to capture (my perception of) my voice. So it's AI.
We alternate the stanzas. Hina is bold, and I'm italics.
Thank you so much!
Love it! The voice was great. Very realistic sounding.
I try to make it match. I have poor recording programs, but I have recorded myself before.
You did the best 🫶
I felt a difficult reckoning, not with dreams, but with identity. You both did beautiful work. I can’t wait to read more! 👏
Thank you so much ❤️
Thank you so much for going deep on it. Many stopped at dreams.

He is so brilliant 🫶
Very true. I know it too well. I'm glad you liked it.
Did you see I toned down the bars but for two inversions? I counted beats and all?
I thought something was different, but I didn’t notice that. I will go back.
I just toned it all back.
